The Pooja started with Ganapathi poojai, followed by poorvangam, and Pradhana homam dedicated to kala bairavar,
Diraviyams like puffed rice( Pori) White pepper, Jack fruit, big logs of wood, dhothi,anga vastram, red cloths and other common abhisheka diraviyams were offered to kala bairavar in the homam.
After poornahuthi Raksha (mai) was obtained from the homa kundam and was disributed to devotees.
Devotees Lighted Lamp using pepper tied in a red cloth and neem oil as the medium to cleanse their doshas.
Followed by abhishekams to Kala bairavar and alangaram was done.
Annadhanam was also offered to devotees .
